Gracious and everliving Father, you have given the Holy Spirit to abide with us for ever: Bless, we pray, with the Holy Spirit’s grace and presence, the Bishops of the Province who assemble in your Name; that your Church, being preserved in true faith and godly discipline, may fulfill the will of him who loved her and gave himself for her, your Son Jesus Christ our Savior; who now lives and reigns with you and the same Spirit, one God, now and for ever.  Amen.

As we enter 2026, I ask you to pray that we would flourish together: missionally, relationally, and through clergy and congregational vitality. 

Flourishing together is the life-giving partnership of a diocese and her congregations in which mission, relationship, and clergy wellbeing are held in balance.

Do you thirst for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit — in your life, in your congregation, in our Anglican Province? Do you sense both the dryness in our land and our Church? Yet the Spirit is stirring, calling us to gather, soak, and receive in His presence, and to be transformed by the power of God once more.

We thank God for the ordination of William Anderson Clark, Timothy Allport Feyrer, Anna Grace Louise Brooks Flake, Ryan Lee Scarberry, and Stephanie Jane Workman to the Sacred Order of Deacons tonight during the Eucharist service for Synod 2025 at Resurrection Anglican Church, Lutherville, MD.

And on that hill, the Spirit spoke to the silence of my heart, saying, “I want you to commit to loving my Church.” 

 In a part of the service, I was handed a Bible and told by the bishop, "take the authority to read the Gospel in the Church of God and to teach the same."

While open to everyone in the area, this outreach is targeted for those who have met God in church basements rather than in church pews.

The Anglican Relief & Development Fund (ARDF) invites your family to an opportunity to serve together.

As we wait for his second coming, we remain rooted in our faith that we will be reunited with Him no matter how long it takes. And we do so with joy and excitement. How great is that? 

Do you want to come to a richer understanding of how the beautiful tradition of our Christian faith can speak and bring healing to the brokenness we see all around us? Are you at a crossroads in your life and wanting to process where you've been and where you're going? Or are you longing for more and wanting to move deeper in your relationship with God?

This free event is open to our entire church family to sing along with or just listen to our choir, orchestra, organ, and soloists. Messiah is a great event to invite someone curious about Jesus to experience worship & music during the Advent season.
