REPORTING CHILD OR YOUTH ABUSE
If you have witnessed or suspect the abuse of a child or young person, immediately report it to local authorities.

After reporting the abuse to local authorities, please complete DOMA’s Reporting Form so we know about the incident and can provide trauma-informed care to all parties involved.
REPORTING ABUSE of a Vulnerable Adult
If you have witnessed or suspect the abuse of a vulnerable or elderly adult, many states require you to report it to local authorities. These laws vary considerably from state to state.

Reporting Misconduct by Clergy
Misconduct may include categories of behavior like sexual harassment, discrimination, financial impropriety, abuse of authority, other behavior prohibited by ACNA and DOMA canons or policies, or national/state laws.

Your report will be sent directly to The Rev. Canon Laura Bowman, Canon for Safe Churches.
Misconduct by Laypersons (non-ordained church staff or other leaders)
Misconduct by a non-ordained staff person or other lay person must be investigated by the Rector and Senior Warden of the church in which the misconduct took place. Please reach out to your Rector and Senior Warden and use the reporting forms so we are aware of the report.
1) Contact your Rector.
2) Complete the Reporting Form.
