State Contact Information

Minors are covered by state-mandated reporting laws which require that individuals who know, or have reasonable cause to suspect, that a child has been abused, abandoned, neglected, or exploited in violation of the law should immediately contact the appropriate state abuse hotline. These state laws generally require that certain categories of persons responsible for the care or treatment of children must report to state authorities when there is reasonable cause to believe that a child has been abused, abandoned, neglected, or exploited.
