We thank God for the ordination of William Anderson Clark, Timothy Allport Feyrer, Anna Grace Louise Brooks Flake, Ryan Lee Scarberry, and Stephanie Jane Workman to the Sacred Order of Deacons tonight during the Eucharist service for Synod 2025 at Resurrection Anglican Church, Lutherville, MD.

And on that hill, the Spirit spoke to the silence of my heart, saying, “I want you to commit to loving my Church.” 

 In a part of the service, I was handed a Bible and told by the bishop, "take the authority to read the Gospel in the Church of God and to teach the same."

We thank God for the ordination of Wade Bradshaw to the priesthood on October 4 at Christ Anglican Church in Orange, VA.

We thank God for the ordination of James Brockway to the priesthood on August 9, at Beach Church, Virginia Beach, VA.

We thank God for the ordination of Preston Hansen’s to the priesthood on Saturday, August 30 at Truro Anglican Church, Fairfax, VA.

We thank God for the ordination of Addie Anderson to the priesthood, Saturday, June 9, at Restoration Anglican Church in Arlington, VA.

We thank God for the ordination of Angela Holstege to the priesthood, Saturday, March 20, at Church of the Resurrection in Baltimore, MD.

This is why I shall happily – though not without a certain unavoidable self-consciousness – wear funny clothes as I take vows and have a Bishop ask God’s blessing over me on Saturday. They show beyond doubt who I am serving.
