🌱Family Fall Retreat
Corpus Christi (Springfield, VA) held their annual Fall Retreat this year out in Front Royal. It was such a beautiful and formative time. The Rev. Summer Joy Gross spoke on the topic of rest and creating space for God. We created spaces to rest together: morning prayer, a great hike, sports, art, a fire pit, and board games. The weekend concluded with a celebration of the Eucharist together. I loved watching the kids form new friendships and have a lot of free time to run around with each other. I loved watching the adults connect over board games, fire pits, and art. It was such a sweet time as a church family and created a great foundation for a paradigm of communal rest in Christ.
