On Tuesday, Sep. 16, the clergy around the Diocese gathered.

On Sept. 9, at All Saints’ Church (Woodbridge, VA), DOMA held the annual Wardens’ Day.The Rev. Mary Maggard Hays (Canon for Clergy and Congregation Care) and The Rev. Dr. Tuck Bartholomew (Canon for Church Planting) presented alongside Bishop Chris.

On September 11, 2023, residents of the coastal city Derna in Libya awoke to the explosive sounds of two dams breaking, releasing a wall of water that quickly destroyed sections of the city and killed thousands.

On Oct. 10, Global Christian Relief (GCR) is presenting an inspirational and unique opportunity to deepen your awareness of persecution experienced by followers of Jesus at The Falls Church Anglican from 7 – 8:30 p.m.

On a fall afternoon I remember chatting with a senior student who was interested in hearing more about my ministry. As I spoke with him, I began to illustrate a vision for college ministry through the local church, which I explained as “building a bridge”.

Our logo was created amid the pandemic, which speaks to the hope we share in Christ during difficult times, and our resolve to fulfill the call God has placed on our church.

Is evangelism a thing of the past?

That was the title of an article I read some time ago in Relevant Magazine. The article stated that according to a Barna study, 83 percent of American churchgoers aren’t clear about the Great Commission. Of those, roughly half indicated they had no idea what it is, while the others said they’d heard of the Great Commission but weren't sure of its exact meaning. The article also said that this lack of knowledge about the Great Commission increases among younger generations.

The WGTS Ice Cream Tour at All Saints' was an amazing event with free ice cream, games, prizes, music & over 700 people!

Belonging is a human need. We all have experienced times of feeling like we do not belong. What does belonging mean? How can we foster belonging among people with and without disabilities within our church?

Start by praying. Ask God to give you his conviction. Seek what the Scripture says. And then pay attention to the opportunities before you and join God as His hands and feet and mouth in this world.

The Falls Church Anglican resumes its Timothy program this autumn, welcoming the Rev. Michael Weeks to serve as Associate Pastor for Discipleship.

Peak fire conditions have characterized much of Hawaii for some time, so when blazes broke out on Maui the fire swept across the land in a deadly blaze. At least 106 people have died so far. ARDF is collecting funds to support survivors, and Anglican Churches are helping survivors find shelter. They are also providing food and emergency kits.
