Starting a new church is a bit like having a baby. There’s all sorts of stuff that is needed to gather a group of people for public worship, and it all costs money that a new baby church doesn’t have. So we’ve pulled together a “registry” so that friends and family and the church can give towards specific, tangible items needed to help us move into this next season.

The entire congregation was invited to an opportunity to gather and learn from one another around the themes of the 7 Practices as reflected through some of their very own creatives.

The women of Church of the Apostles in Fairfax, VA enjoyed a weekend retreat from April 28-30 at Potomac Park Retreat and Conference Center in Falling Waters, West Virginia, about 80 miles from Fairfax.

The "Love in Action Challenge" is a virtual race that was organized last year in honor and in memory of the Rev. Jack Grubbs (former Canon for Ordinations for the Diocese), an avid runner, and Board Chairman of Shade, an organization that helps children with albinism who are mistreated or in danger.

Retired Archbishop of the ACNA, The Right Rev. Robert W. Duncan, celebrated and preached at Christ Church Accokeek on May 14, 2023 as they observed the 325th anniversary of their founding.

Our Synod is more than just a “business” meeting. It’s a joy-filled opportunity to gather as a diocese for worship, fellowship and spiritual growth. Come and be re-energized and refreshed by the worship, Bible teaching, testimonies and breakout sessions on topics central to our churches’ ministries and mission.
