The Falls Church Anglican presented a wonderful pro-life lesson to elementary Sunday School classes on January 30, in partnership with TFCA’s Anglicans for Life chapter.

We thank God for the ordination of the Rev. Rudolph Tucker Bartholomew III and Daniel Lee Halderman II into the transitional diaconate at Redeemer Anglican Church, Richmond, VA on Feb 11, 2022.

“I’m comfortable with how close we are getting, if God so wills, to redirect and correct what was done in Roe v Wade,” shared Bishop Clark Lowenfield of the Houston, Texas-based Diocese of the Western Gulf Coast. “I learned a long time ago that I need to be wary when I become comfortable.”

"As followers of Jesus, we are ministers of love and compassion and healing for those who are in great pain, physically, emotionally, spiritually. But suicide is not the answer.

"I say to all of us, young people, seniors, those facing great hardship or great pain: Do not succumb to the hopelessness of the culture of death. You are precious to the Lord and to the Body of Christ."

Church of the Holy Spirit will be preparing tote bags filled with activities, crafts, and candy that present the wonderful love of God.

The ACNA invites you to attend The Gathering 2022 — an annual event provided by the Matthew 25 Initiative, one of the ministry initiatives within the Anglican Church in North America. This year's event takes place February 22-24, 2022 in El Paso, Texas, with a theme of Building Bridges: Peacemaking + Reconciliation + Conflict-Resolution.

Prompted by an overwhelming sense of peace, Lydia Pedersen chose to stay [at camp] and ask some hard, but necessary, questions of God during her quiet time. For the first time at the retreat, she let Him in and allowed herself a moment to present her need without a self-imposed agenda or timetable.

Church of the Messiah, Chesapeake, VA had a recent outreach event with the Chesapeake Area Shelter Team by sharing Christ’s love with homemade meals and the love of Christ!

Many of us would walk past a clearance table at Walmart with shoes for a dollar. Cindy Brown from Anglican Church of the Valley (ACOTV) in Staunton, VA saw a ministry opportunity.

On February 5, a group of volunteers from Christ Church in Accokeek, MD gathered to prepare food to share with homeless Veterans in Downtown DC.

A call to leadership and perhaps ordination is not the work of a few; it is the work of the whole church. First, by praying that God would raise up servant-leaders for His Church. But also, by speaking words of encouragement to those in whom we recognize—albeit in nascent form—gifts of teaching, pastoring, and leadership.

The March for Life prayer and worship service will be held on Friday, January 21 at 9:30 a.m. at the The Falls Church Anglican. Registration is not required for in-person or virtual participation.
