The registration fee is $75 per person and helps to offset costs for a reception and dinner on Thursday night, a light breakfast on Friday morning, and lunch and dinner on Friday. In addition, there will be a reception after the Friday Eucharist as well as plentiful coffee and break items provided throughout the three days.
We've never paid before - why now?
DOMA is growing and improving what we do. We're also responding to the expressed concerns from recent synod delegates desiring improved quality. We are spreading the costs out - the diocese is carrying the bulk of the expenses, Church of the Resurrection has contributed monetarily to the event, a generous donor has also given, and the synod delegates (generally paid by the church they serve) are helping with the costs through a registration fee.
In the event that the increased costs of Synod prove to be a hardship, you may request a scholarship toward the registration fee.
There is no registration or fee required if a retired or licensed clergy person wishes to attend the Friday Eucharist only.
