Electronic Voting at SynoD
This year, we’re making voting at Synod easier and more accessible than ever!
All voting will be done electronically using your phone or tablet — no paper ballots needed.
We will we go over this during the delegate zoom meetings on Oct 27 & 30.
What You’ll Need
A smartphone or tablet (any brand or model will work).
The ability to scan a QR code — most devices can do this using the camera app.
Turn on camera permissions in your Settings.
How It Works
When it’s time to vote, a QR code will be displayed.
Open your camera (or QR scanner app) and point it at the QR code.
A link will appear — tap the link to open the secure voting page.
Cast your vote and submit. That’s it!
Your vote will be recorded instantly and securely. No special app, account, or download is required.
Give it a try! Scan the QR code to the left.
It will take you to a pretend vote to make sure you are ready for Synod!
Need Help?
Don’t worry — on-site volunteers will be available to assist anyone who would like help scanning the QR code or submitting their vote.
Note: Some older phones may need a QR code scanner app — search “QR scanner” in the App Store or Google Play Store and install one.
