ARDF: Update from Ukraine
As the war in Ukraine enters its eleventh week, our partners have been busy serving the multitudes of refugees and internally displaced people forced to leave their homes. Here is an update on their latest activities.

After lunch and a short program, our Seniors joined another 50 TIPS (Truro Programs & Services) international guests and volunteers for a beautiful program in the Sanctuary at Truro Anglican.
$340k to 9 countries = a busy six months!
In the past 6 months (since the last project update on May 1, 2021), ARDF has sent nearly $340,000 to projects in: Egypt, Ghana, India, Kenya, Myanmar, Nigeria, South Sudan, and Tanzania. We also funded a project in an undisclosed country (due to security reasons).

Afghan Refugees: What You Can Do
In recent weeks, as we have read the news from Afghanistan, our hearts are troubled. As our military mission there has ended, so many Afghan refugees are arriving here – and the DC/Maryland/Virginia area is a major focus for their immediate resettlement. In short, we have a missional opportunity to show the love of Christ to these Afghan families, our new neighbors, welcoming the stranger (Matt. 25:39) and showing true hospitality to those in need. We have an unprecedented opportunity work in unity with area churches to meet these needs.
