Reflections on Provincial

What a joy and encouragement it was to attend Provincial Council at the new Trophimus Center at Trinity Anglican Seminary. From the opening Eucharist and Archbishop Steve Woods’ inspiring address to the breakout sessions and ministry updates, the meetings were full and inspiring. Three highlights for me were 1) The focus and priority on the gospel and mission. 2) the commitment to fostering unity through healthy structures and communications. And 3) The strength and depth of the Archbishop’s team, led by Executive Director Deborah Tepley. I am grateful to be a part of a movement that is led with integrity, excellence and an unapologetic commitment to preaching the gospel, making disciples, and building healthy local churches. Finally, Archbishop Bob Duncan’s short overview of the founding of the ACNA should be a must listen for all who desire to build a missionary, unified, gospel-centered Anglican Church throughout North America.
