A Joyful Pentecost Baptism
Redeemer Anglican Church in Richmond, VA, celebrates the sacrament of Baptism four times each year: Epiphany Sunday (The Baptism of Our Lord), Easter, Pentecost, and All Saints’ Day.
This Pentecost was no exception. Along with wearing red, creating paper-flame crafts for the children, and waving red streamers during worship, Redeemer parishioners of all ages joyfully welcomed a new member into the Body of Christ through the sacrament of Baptism.
As the Church celebrated the gift of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, the congregation also rejoiced in God’s work of new life and new birth through the waters of Baptism. Enjoy photos below.
