Pentecost: Every Nation, One Lord
This Pentecost, Beach Church intentionally highlighted the international nature of the feast: that in Christ, we are one family, gathered from every nation and culture, praising one Lord in many languages and traditions. The congregation heard both worship and the proclamation of Scripture in several languages, including Spanish and Amharic. People were moved to tears at points of the service. Wearing gifts from a recent trip to Kenya, her testimony was just one of many visual and auditory reminders of this beautiful reality that were woven throughout worship that Sunday.
