As mentioned in his letter, Bishop Chris led a team to Kenya encourage fellow sisters and brothers in the Diocese of Maralal in the Anglican Church of Kenya. Members of the team share their own reflections from their time in Kenya.

Earlier this spring, a small team from our diocese traveled to Kenya to walk alongside our brothers and sisters in the Diocese of Maralal, a growing diocese in Northern Kenya. Bishop Chris led a teaching team that included Catherine+ and Caroline Warner, Cn. Tuck Bartholomew, Vivian Hayes+, Angela Holstege+, and postulant and Christ the King's pastoral resident, Jesse Perl. The majority of the group's time focused on a clergy conference in the Diocese of Maralal, where over several days the team taught on the person and work of the Holy Spirit and our union with Christ, foundational truths that ground and sustain pastoral ministry in any context.

The team was also invited to preach in local congregations of the diocese on Sunday before traveling to Isiolo, where they visited the construction site of a hospital and observed a micro-financing ministry in which women are engaged in financing small businesses and learning trade skills useful for that work.
