Youth from Holy Spirit Serve In Guatemala

In July, Church of the Holy Spirit (Leesburg, VA) sent a team of 21 people—mostly students—traveled to Guatemala to partner with IDC Mission for a week of hands-on ministry and service. From July 12–19, the group worked together to build two homes for families in need. In addition, the team donated four wheelchairs, delivered 25 water filters and food bags to local households, and shared in children’s ministry.
The trip was a powerful experience of faith in action, as students and leaders alike saw the impact of serving others in practical, life-changing ways. Beyond the projects completed, the relationships built and the love of Christ shared made the week unforgettable. Enjoy a few photos below!
