Apostle Hosts Bible Study for Girls
by Melissa Ciavarella
What a fabulous time we had this summer with 16 girls, ages 7 to 16, studying Luke 8:15 — “A Seed to Sow.” Meeting every Wednesday afternoon, the girls gathered in small groups to dig into the Word of God, share their thoughts, and ask questions. Each week, they enjoyed tasty snacks and created a hands-on craft designed to help them remember the lesson and apply it in their daily lives.
This summer program was planned as an outreach to the community, and the response was overwhelming! We were thrilled to welcome girls from both our congregation and beyond, building new friendships and strengthening old ones. The joy and energy in the room each week were contagious, and it was clear God was planting seeds that will continue to grow.
On our final day, we celebrated with ice cream, laughter, and plenty of stories about what we had learned together. The girls were unanimous — they wanted the Bible study to continue! We thank the Lord for the opportunity to share His Word in such a fun and meaningful way.
