St. Andrew’s Celebrates One Year 🌱

by Seth Zimmerman

St. Andrew's Anglican Church recently celebrated our first year of ministry with a church planter on the ground here in Frederick. Last July, we began meeting weekly on Sundays, building on the momentum that had been growing over the past few years. We first gathered for Morning Prayer on the Zimmerman's back patio, then moved to the shade of a local park pavilion, all while continuing our rhythm of holding a monthly Eucharist Service at a Methodist Church downtown in the evening. When the coolness of September arrived, the Lord graciously provided our current space at Braddock Lutheran Church, where we have continued to meet and grow by His grace. Thank you for your prayers! Below are some pictures from this past year.

Did you know the Diocese supports nine church plants, with many more planned? This 🌱 plant icon 🌱 indicates this is an article about one of our church plants. Read about how these plants are breaking new ground for the gospel, and help them grow through your prayers and gifts!
