Synod 2026: Rooted
You’re invited!
synod noun /ˈsi-nəd/
an annual gathering of clergy and lay REPS from churches across the Diocese that helps guide and govern its life and mission.
But Synod is about more than business! It’s a joy-filled gathering of our diocese for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Come for great music, biblical teaching, and breakout sessions focused on the ministries and mission of our churches. Most of all, come to worship, connect, and be encouraged as we gather together as one diocese.

Timeline To Synod

Letter from C&C CommitteeLetter requesting suggested changes to Constitution & Canons from C&C Committee goes to Wardens, Clergy, and Admins.

Secretary Gives NoticeSecretary gives notice of regular meeting of the Synod. This must be at least 180 days before Synod.

Proposed AmendmentsDeadline for submitting proposed amendments to Constitution & Canons Committee. This is 120 days before Synod.

Deadline to Select DelegatesDeadline for Congregations and Missions to select and report delegates to the Registrar. This is 90 days before Synod.

All Signed Nomination Forms DueThis includes youth delegates and nominations for Standing Committee & Constitution and Canons Committee.

Delegate List PublishedRegistrar publishes list of delegates. This will be no later than 30 days before Synod.

WHO MAY ATTEND?
Everyone is welcome to attend Synod. The Thursday event is for clergy only. However, the events on Friday and the business meeting on Saturday are open to all. View the full schedule here.
DO I NEED TO REGISTER?

Why Rooted?
"That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith... that you, being rooted and grounded in love... may be filled with all the fullness of God."Ephesians 3:17-19
In a season of change, I’ve been reminded that roots are not the end of the story. They anchor us in Christ and help us receive the strength and nourishment He provides. Our strength as a diocese comes not from our own efforts, but from being held fast in Christ, together, deep enough to receive all he has for us. I hope you'll join me to pray, to listen, and to be filled afresh, as one family, with the fullness of God, and for the sake of the world.
