We currently gather each Sunday, 4 p.m., at 8204 Edgewood Church Road, Frederick, Maryland 21702. We would love to meet you!

The new church quickly responded and confirmed the request. St. Andrew’s first service in our new space, a space the Lord supplied, was on April 19 (4/19!) just as we had been praying for the past year! Additionally, 108 people showed up that would not have fit into the previous building.
Our mission is to invite disconnected people into a family that follows Jesus, is formed by Jesus, and overflows with the love of Jesus—and this event was a beautiful expression of that overflowing love in action!
This July marked one year since St. Andrew’s began meeting weekly in Frederick with our church planter on the ground. We give thanks for His provision and for your faithful prayers!
On Sunday, March 16, St. Andrew's celebrated the Feast of St. Patrick with a fellowship meal after our service.
God has been doing good things here, and as we move forward we are pleased to announce that Bishop Chris has approved St. Andrew's Anglican Church as the new name for the Frederick church plant.
Frederick Anglican Fellowship is looking forward with joy to having the Rev. Seth Zimmerman begin as priest for the Frederick church plant in July.
Canon Tuck Bartholomew is very pleased to announce that the Reverend Seth Zimmerman has accepted a call from Bishop Chris Warner to lead DOMA’s church plant in Frederick, MD.
Another first for FAF was an Ash Wednesday evening service. Since we do not yet have a priest, Bishop Chris gave permission for Dave Breisch, who serves on our core team, to lead the service and administer the imposition of ashes. This deeply meaningful service was shared among young and old in our congregation.
Looking back, we are very thankful to the Lord. He blessed Frederick Anglican Fellowship in 2023 with a faithful group of worshippers who share his love and grace, visiting priests willing to come and celebrate the Holy Eucharist with us, a creative core team that shares the work required to keep going, and a diocese that has helped and encouraged us time and again.
On All Saints’ Day, November 1, Frederick Anglican Fellowship (FAF) met in a church (not a conference room) for the first time! We gathered in the evening at a beautiful downtown Frederick church (Centennial United Methodist) for a lay-led service of hymns, prayers, scripture, and reflections followed by hot cider, snacks, and multigenerational conversation.
On Sunday, October 1, we marked the anniversary of our very first monthly service in downtown Frederick. Father Charles Glantzberg kindly came to celebrate the Holy Eucharist with us, followed by a delicious brunch at a member’s home nearby. It’s a blessed milestone, even though we look forward to the day when we will have a priest/planter to lead us and the opportunity to grow into a more fully-formed church.
It’s been just a year since a few lay leaders with a vision for an Anglican church in Frederick, Maryland, attended the Always Forward Church Planting Intensive training in Baltimore. Since then, Frederick Anglican Fellowship has become a small but vibrant community of folks committed to an Anglican church in Frederick.
We had a wonderful Palm Sunday here in Frederick, led by visiting priest Father Charles Glantzberg. Thirty people attended, eight of them children!
Frederick Anglican Fellowship continue to be encouraged about how the Lord is working at our church plant in Frederick, Maryland. A steady group of folks has a growing investment in this church plant through their time, involvement, fellowship, and financial support.
We are humbled and amazed about what God has done since last Easter, as we continue to work on the church plant in Frederick, Maryland, currently called Frederick Anglican Fellowship.
Frederick Anglican Fellowship continues to move forward. Our little, lay-led community is growing!
Exciting news! Frederick Anglican Fellowship has begun lay-led Morning Prayer services on the first Sunday of each month in Frederick, Maryland. Our first service was on Sunday, October 2, led by David Breisch. Even though it was pouring rain, we had a good turnout, including people we knew and guests they brought. It was a multi-generational group, and the fellowship was warm.
FAF seeks to be a community of individuals and families of different ages and backgrounds who live and experience Jesus Christ personally, and to be a place where people can grow in spiritual maturity and be equipped for ministry in their specific contexts.
This Pentecost, St. Andrew's (Frederick, MD) was filled with joy and celebration as we welcomed eight new members through baptism.
