Incarnation Installs New Rector

On the evening of June 4, 2026, Bishop Chris Warner instituted The Rev. Dr. John Gullett as Rector at Incarnation Anglican Church in Williamsburg, VA.

Incarnation Anglican Church is a growing community of families, empty-nesters, newly-marrieds, and singles of all ages and different backgrounds, from Williamsburg and the surrounding area. We worship God in the historic Anglican tradition, rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and are committed to growing together as a Christian community. We are always looking for fresh and creative ways to serve our community and to invite others to join our shared life in the joy of Christ.

Fr. John was called to lead this warm and welcoming congregation in its new season full of life and hope. As Fr. John joined the church he wrote to the Incarnation family expressing his excitement to move to Williamsburg and share life with them: “I desire to spend time with you, to listen and understand more about each of you, your families, your work, and your community. I want to come alongside and participate in the worship and ministries Incarnation is already doing to learn more about your uniqueness as a church. I want to serve and share my gifts with you in the service of Christ and His Kingdom. And, like you, Ginny and I desire Incarnation to be a place of hope, healing, and true community, generously opening our arms to those longing for a home and to those yet to meet Jesus.”

Please keep Incarnation Anglican Church in Williamsburg, VA in your prayers during this exciting time of transition.

Georgeann Rabb is the Parish Administrator for Incarnation Church, Williamsburg, VA.

Almighty God, you have built your Church upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone: Grant that, by the operation of the Holy Spirit, all Christians may be joined together in unity of spirit and in the bond of peace, that they may be a holy temple acceptable to you. Give the abundance of your grace especially to this Congregation, that with one heart we may desire the health and increase of your holy Church, and with one voice profess the faith once delivered to the saints. Defend us from the sins of heresy and schism. And grant that the course of this world may be so peaceably ordered by your governance, that your Church may joyfully serve you in all godliness and faithfully walk in the ways of truth and peace; so that, on the day of judgment, we all may be numbered with your saints in glory everlasting; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, the gracious Shepherd and Bishop of our souls, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
