A Story of Provision🌱
In the fall of 2024, St. Andrew’s Anglican, a church plant in Frederick, MD began meeting weekly in a small chapel for Sunday services. Our congregation of about 25 fit nicely into the space that could only accommodate 96 (by fire code). As the church plant grew, we began to pray each Tuesday at 4:19 PM (out of Philippians 4:19) that the Lord would supply every need of ours by providing a new gathering space. On Easter Sunday, April 5, St. Andrew’s gathered outdoors because we expected over 100 people to attend the service. Meanwhile, we were in conversation with another church about renting their space in May. However, we got a call from the landlord and learned that construction on the property would prohibit us from using the restroom! We quickly contacted the new church and asked if they would consider beginning the lease agreement two weeks ahead of schedule. The new church quickly responded and confirmed the request. St. Andrew’s first service in our new space, a space the Lord supplied, was on April 19 (4/19!) just as we had been praying for the past year! Additionally, 108 people showed up that would not have fit into the previous building.
Brothers and sisters, keep praying and pray specifically. The Lord hears our prayers!
