Frederick Anglican Fellowship

Frederick, MD

Frederick Anglican Fellowship (FAF) is the working name of a new Anglican church plant in Frederick, Maryland. The prayerful group of lay people who have begun this work is seeking a clergy church planter to lead and pastor the new church.

This is a great opportunity for a Spirit-led, gifted, and motivated Anglican priest with a vision for gospel transformation in the Frederick community! In the meantime, FAF is meeting on the first Sunday of each month for lay-led Morning Prayer in downtown Frederick.

No other Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) churches currently exist in the county of Frederick, and none are closer than Baltimore (49 miles) or Hagerstown (29 miles), Maryland. Many Frederick residents enjoy busy lives and careers, often commuting to Washington, DC and northern Virginia. It makes sense for them to have access to an ACNA church close to their homes.

FAF prayerfully hopes to be a growing community where people come to know God — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — and share God’s love with others in the Frederick area. We seek to be a place for individuals and families of different ages and backgrounds to live and experience Jesus Christ personally, to develop as disciples, and to be equipped for ministry in their own contexts.
