Rebuilding Homes, Restoring Hope

Twelve volunteers — including nine from DOMA churches Truro and Church of the Apostles (both in Fairfax, VA) — shared in rich fellowship and joyful service during their Anglican Relief & Development Fund (ARDF) disaster relief mission in Western North Carolina, October 13–17. The team helped rebuild homes and restore hope for families still recovering from the devastation of Tropical Storm Helene one year ago. In addition to completing interior construction on two homes, they prayed with homeowners, offered encouragement, and supported disaster relief staff who were facing personal challenges of their own. The trip was a truly Spirit-led mission of compassion and renewal. Enjoy the photos below!
