Anchored in Hope

The Rev. Jay Baylor, a priest in our Diocese and US Regional Coordinator, Restoring Hope, American Bible Society invites churches from around DOMA to participate in a pilot of the Anchored in Hope trauma-healing program, developed by the American Bible Society’s Trauma Healing Institute. This app-based program integrates biblical wisdom with mental-health best practices to help churches become places of healing for those carrying past wounds and anxiety. Five churches from our Diocese will be selected to pilot the program, offer feedback, and help shape resources that will later be shared more widely. Participating churches will receive a stipend in appreciation for their time and partnership. Those interested are encouraged to learn more and schedule a conversation about implementation.
