Church of the Good Shepherd in Lynchburg shares:
“We had 20 people (mostly adults) confirmed or received at CoGS this year! We had so many of them say they were especially moved by Bishop Chris laying hands on them and praying/speaking over them personally. His words and prayers were extremely meaningful to so many. Several commented that they were ‘blown away’ by the way the Spirit moved and didn't expect that to happen in a liturgical service. Needless to say, there were lots of tears!”

Almighty and everliving God, let your fatherly hand ever be upon these your servants; let your Holy Spirit ever be with them; and so lead them in the knowledge and obedience of your Holy Word, that they may faithfully serve you in this life, and joyfully dwell with you in the life to come; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
