The Associate is a member of the Family Ministry Team whose primary responsibility is to care for, serve, and teach children, youth, and families. The Team is dedicated to care for infants and toddlers; to teach children about the Christian faith in weekly Sunday School; to assist children and youth to profess faith in Jesus Christ; to teach children and youth to be disciples of Jesus and grow in their faith; and to equip and support parents to love their children, teach them the Christian faith, and model the way. The Associate supports Family Ministries’ primary areas of ministry - The Nest (3 months to Pre-K), Truro Kids (K to 4th Grade), Club 56 (5th and 6th Grade), and Youth (7th to 12th Grade). Family Ministry is fun! This is a great opportunity for a mature follower of Jesus who wants to contribute to an exciting and important ministry at Truro; who wants to be part of a dynamic team; and who is looking for flexible hours.

The priority of the staff at Resurrection is to love Jesus and cultivate a heart for Him and His people in order to fulfill the mission to know Christ and make Him known. Seeking to become more like Christ in who we are and what we do is the foundation upon which we serve to make Him known. Director of Student Ministry

The Director of Student Ministry seeks to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of middle and high school students through relational and programmatic opportunities that foster bible study, worship, prayer, growth, evangelism, mission, fun. Additional goals include:

▪ Create a sense of community among students and provide natural opportunities for students to invite friends to “come and see”.

▪ Raise up and train volunteer leaders who will commit to investing time and energy into students through healthy and consistent relational interaction.

▪ Help to teach and encourage parents and the wider church community about their role and responsibility in sharing their faith and discipling students.

The Apprenticeship Initiative Ministry

Church of the Resurrection

Full Description

AIM is a one-year apprenticeship for 2-4 college graduates* to experience gospel ministry in the context of local church. AIM participants will receive a broad range of experience in gospel ministry with a concentration in a field or fields of their choice. They will receive ministry training and hands-on experience, participate in theological studies, coaching and peer-to-peer learning, all while contributing to the ongoing ministry of the church. Participants will leave their apprenticeship with greater clarity on their calling, mission, and purpose as a follower of Christ.
