Pastoral Resident
The Pastoral Resident will serve as a member of Holy Comforter’s staff team and work closely with clergy, staff, and volunteers to provide administrative support and pastoral care to our church community. This role will offer experience, development, and support in a broad array of pastoral responsibilities, with the goal of preparing the resident to plant a new church or join a congregation’s pastoral staff. Consequently, the candidate may be ordained or exploring ordination. The role will include regular opportunities for pastoral mentorship from the vicar.

The Youth Ministry Coordinator will support and encourage the vision, strategy, and model of the TFCA youth ministry. They will plan, coordinate, and deliver a Christ-centered relevant program that meets the needs of the middle school and high school students within the context of the church’s youth ministry, with the aim of bringing students to faith in Jesus Christ and into growth and service as believers. They will work closely to support the Youth Ministry Director and Assistant Directors on their programs, events, goals, and plans. They will develop and lead strong adult volunteer leaders (“The Youth Family”) to effectively disciple the students. They will work to disciple and evangelize the middle and high school students. The will plan and carry out special events. They will help maximize the effective use of resources and track ministry results, as well as assist in leading trips, programs, and other youth ministry events.

The Director of Evangelism and Missions has a burning passion for the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 16-20). He personally and regularly seeks to share the Gospel with those who do not yet know Jesus and is able to articulate the Gospel in a clear, concise, and contextualized way.
