Committee on Constitution and Canons
The Committee on Constitution and Canons serves a vital role in maintaining the integrity and alignment of the Diocese’s governing documents. This committee ensures that the Constitution and Canons of the Diocese remain consistent with those of the Province and provides careful oversight of any proposed amendments.
Ecclesiastical Trial Court
There shall be an Ecclesiastical Trial Court of the Diocese for the application of Church discipline in accordance with the Provincial Constitution and Canons.
Examining Chaplains
The Bishop may appoint Examining Chaplains from among clergy and laity of the Diocese for the purpose of assisting the Bishop with oversight of Postulants and Candidates for ordination and their examination for ordination.
Great Commission Committee
There shall be a Great Commission Committee, the membership of which shall be determined by the Bishop with the advice of the Standing Committee.
Officers of the Diocese
Article X: In addition to the Bishop, and, if there be such, the Bishop Coadjutor and the Bishop Suffragan, the Officers of the Diocese shall be the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Chancellor, and the Registrar. The selection and duties of the Officers of the Diocese shall be prescribed by Canon.
Ordination Committee
There shall be a Diocesan Ordination Committee comprising clergy and lay members appointed by the Bishop.
Provincial Assembly Delegates
The Synod of the Diocese shall elect the delegates and alternates to the Provincial Assembly and Provincial Council from a list of nominees provided by the Clergy and Vestries of the Congregations and Missions and endorsed by the Standing Committee and the Bishop.

The Standing Committee plays a vital leadership role in the life of the Diocese. Working alongside the Bishop, this group helps guide key decisions, support clergy and congregations, and ensure that diocesan governance stays on track.
