Abuse Awareness & Policy Training

September is Safeguarding Training Month for Clergy of the Diocese.
Training renewal for clergy will continue to be required every two years and must be completed by September of the renewal year.
UPCOMING Abuse Awareness & Policy Training DATES
This workshop satisfies the diocesan training requirements for clergy, vestry members, staff and volunteers who work with youth or children.
There is no charge for this training, but registration is required.
2025 dates
UPCOMING TRAIN THE TRAINERS WORKSHOP DATES
Training is also available for anyone, approved by the rector, to be a trained trainer (either a staff member or a volunteer), who could then offer child protection training sessions on a regular basis for his/her church's staff and volunteers.
To become a diocesan-approved Safeguarding Trainer, the person must be endorsed by his/her rector and register to attend any upcoming Train the Trainer Workshops.
There is no charge, but registration is required.
