Legacy Grandparent Summit 2023

The Children and Family Ministries at Church of the Apostles, 11717 Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA 22030, will be hosting The Legacy Grandparenting Summit on Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21 beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m. This conference is designed for grandparents. As you may remember from the baptismal liturgy, the church community agrees to be the witness of these baptism vows to do all in your power to support these persons in their life in Christ by responding: “We will.”

The vision of the Legacy Coalition is to help grandparents engage in faith conversations and activities that build that faith legacy in their grandchildren. Legacy Coalition, helps grandparents grow in their biblical role as elders through our resources and events, receive practical wisdom and direction, find spiritual inspiration and gain comfort in community.

The Early Bird Conference fee is $49. The price jumps to $59 per person on September 12, 2023. The registration covers the 2-day conference, all the conference materials, and access to the replays for 30 days.

Kristin Colligan will contact you directly after you have registered about lunch options. There will be ample time for networking with other grandparents. You will hear from some of our very own grandparents, and there will be a resource table with many free and fun resources for grandparenting.
