Serve the City Chesapeake (STC), VA makes it possible to help those in need in our own community without the need for a passport or more than a few dollars. What the volunteers of STC do spend is the time and talent with which the Lord has blessed them.

Mission Haiti 2011 Team, Family and Friends:
What an awesome mission trip that exceeded expectations! Thank you for going. You did an outstanding job representing yourself, your family, your church, Jesus Christ, and the United States of America.
Now that you are back home and have settled into your routines I wanted to let you know of my great appreciation for your sacrifice to go to Haiti with me. You did an outstanding job serving the children and adults at the Lacroix New Testament Mission. We accomplished more than thought possible in such a short period of time. You reflected the image and power of Christ Jesus in your service. Thank you for a job well done.
